Ocho Rios sits on the central north coast of Jamaica, roughly midway between Montego Bay and Port Antonio. The scenery here has a different quality to the west coast, with more dramatic green hillsides descending to the water, smaller and more sheltered beaches, and a lush tropical landscape that produces photographs with a distinctly different feel to the open north coast settings around Montego Bay.
The most popular photography locations in Ocho Rios are the beach and grounds at Sandals Royal Plantation, the Jamaica Inn gardens and beach, the grounds at Moon Palace Jamaica, and the villa properties in the hills above the coast. The sheltered bays and coves around Ocho Rios also offer excellent settings for couples and family sessions away from the busier resort areas.
I travel from Montego Bay for Ocho Rios sessions, approximately 90 minutes to two hours each way. A travel fee applies and is confirmed at booking.
